CAPES participates in various forums, in its quest to regulate and professionalise the labour recruitment industry. Each stakeholder engagement is seen as important in developing relationships, educating the general public about the importance & impact of the TES industry and the need for tighter regulation.

apso-new-logo The Association of Personnel Service Organisations (APSO) is committed to the upliftment and professionalization of the labour recruitment industry in South Africa. With thirty years experience, APSO is well placed to provide guidance to member agencies, client companies and work seekers who want to ensure that their dealings within the labour recruitment sector are legally compliant and operate according to Best Practice Standards.

CEA-LBD-logo The CEA(SA) is a body representing its employer members in the construction engineering industry in the Republic of South Africa. The umbrella body for all employers in this industry is the Steel and Engineering Industries Federation of South Africa (SEIFSA) and affiliated to it are 39 Associations, each covering a specific sector of industry and the CEA(SA) is one such association.

 

anasa2-new-logo The establishment of an organization representing nursing agencies became apparent when the industry needed to speak with one voice. The Association of Nursing Agencies of South Africa (ANASA) was founded on 23 November 1994 under the auspices of the then South African Nursing Association. The newly established Association was the brainchild of Mr Angus Smith and Ms Leslie Nunan, who chaired the founding meeting.

ita-new-logo The Information Technology Association (ITA) was founded in 1934 and represents various companies concerned with the supply of information technology equipment, systems, software and services in the ICT industry. The ITA comprises a body of members actively participating in issues and events, which directly or indirectly affect business and need attention at national, international, governmental, NGO, para-statal and business level.

busa-logoBusiness Unity South Africa (BUSA) was created in October 2003 through the merger of the Black Business Council and Business South Africa. It began operating in January 2004. The merger created the first truly unified organisation for business in South Africa.

BUSA represents South African business on macro-economic and high-level issues that affect it   at the national and international levels. Our function is to ensure that business plays a constructive role in the country’s economic growth, development and transformation and to create an environment in which businesses of all sizes and in all sectors can thrive, expand and be competitive.

NEDLAC-logo At NEDLAC, Government comes together with organised business, organised labour and organised community groupings on a national level to discuss and try to reach consensus on issues of social and economic policy. This is called "social dialogue". NEDLAC's aim is to make economic decision-making more inclusive, to promote the goals of economic growth and social equity.

 

SSETA-logo Services Sector Education and Training Authorities have been established to ensure that the skill needs for every sector of the South African economy are identified and that training is available to provide for these skill needs. Services SETA aims to provide comprehensive information regarding the Authority, its structure and its functions. The information is presented in an easily accessible manner, covering both general areas as well as information specific to Employers, Training Providers and Learners.
